Sibbhultsverken AB shall conduct a profitable business while following ethical rules. The business strives for an open business environment and high business ethics. It is of the utmost importance that the business is conducted with the highest possible sense of responsibility, openness and honesty. Any suspicion of fraudulent conduct, bribery or other similar situations witnessed must be reported promptly.<\/p>

When to “blow the whistle”?<\/h3>

All employees have the right to express their concerns regarding violations of the Code of Conduct of the company or other company policies and environmental performance. Whistle-blowers do not need to have strong evidence of breaches before ex-pressing their suspicions or concerns. However, a whistle-blower must be frank, reports should be submitted in honesty and good faith. No claims should be made with malicious intent or with the knowledge that they are false.<\/p>

If an employee or external becomes aware of a case or conduct that is not in line with the Company’s Code of Conduct or other company policies, laws e t c and irregularities of public interest, it is possible to report to KPMG’s Whistleblower Service as described below.<\/p>

Whistleblowing does not cover general expressions of dissatisfaction. Such matters should be communicated to the immediate manager or the Human Resources Department.<\/p>

How to report suspicions?<\/h3>

The reporting is made to a department that handles whistleblowing at KPMG via a website specific to the company: https:\/\/wbreport.amo.kpmg.se\/556693-9863<\/a> or via phone number 0771402138 (voice mail).<\/p>

The whistleblower can remain anonymous in the whistleblowing process. If the reporting person wishes to continue the dialogue and\/or follow the status of the case, the reporting person is assigned a unique case number and password to be able to follow the case at KPMG’s Whistleblower Service.<\/p>

The investigation process<\/h3>

Whistleblowing is handled confidentially and administered by KPMG. To ensure the anonymity of the reporting person, KPMG does not save IP addresses or other metadata. The system also protects the report and any information about the person(s) whose identity appears in the report.<\/p>

KPMG will acknowledge receipt of the whistleblowing within seven (7) days, if the reporter has created an account for further contact or otherwise provided contact information. In the case of allegations of criminal activity, the informant is informed that the identity may need to be disclosed during legal proceedings.<\/p>

KPMG will make an initial assessment of the matter. The report and the initial assessment are forwarded to KPMG’s contact persons at Sibbhultsverken AB for further actions. KPMG ensures that a report is not forwarded to anyone within Sibbhultsverken AB who is affected by the report.<\/p>

KPMG provides reasonable feedback to the reporting person on what action has been taken and why within three months of receipt of a report (or, if no acknowledgement of receipt has been provided, seven days from the date of receipt of the report).<\/p>

Feedback is provided to the person who reported, provided that the person has created an account or provided contact information in some other way.<\/p>

Whistle-blower protection<\/h3>

A whistle-blower who expresses an honest suspicion under this policy does not risk losing his job or suffering any form of sanctions or personal disadvantages. It does not matter whether the respondent has been mistaken, provided that he or she acted in good faith. The identity of the whistle-blower is treated confidentially at all stages of the process and in particular it is not disclosed to any person listed in the report or any other third party.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
